Dubbed the “Mission Impossible” burglar, the man lowered himself into commercial buildings, bypassing elaborate alarm and security systems.

He even bragged about his technique and capers on social media.

Now, he’s behind bars.

Steven Jay Krueger, 50, was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of stealing more than $100,000 worth of laptops from a Huntington Beach building in May of 2013.

“He is a sophisticated burglar who is known as a meticulous planner and uses specialized tools, often to gain entry through the roof, lowering himself into the location, bypassing alarms systems and other security devices,” a Huntington Beach Police Department press release said.

A Pomona police officer stopped the suspect while he was riding his bike, officials said. Joining HBPD in the investigation was Anaheim PD, the Los Angeles County Probation Department’s Special Enforcement Operations Unit, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office DNA Unit and its Bureau of Investigations.

Krueger is being held in Huntington Beach Jail on suspicion of commercial burglary and on a “no bail” probation violation.
