Garden Grove PD investigators arrested a white, 31-year-old male Tuesday on suspicion of sexual assault and are seeking possible additional victims.
The man was arrested for sexually assaulting an adult female he arranged to meet through an online Craigslist ad requesting female companionship, the Garden Grove PD said in a news release.
During their time together overnight Monday in Garden Grove, the suspect engaged in “an unwanted sexual act” with the victim, according to the news release.
“This suspect has committed similar crimes against at least two victims of which we are aware,” Garden Grove Police Lt. Ben Stauffer said. “It’s possible that there are additional, yet unidentified victims in the local community.
“If there are young women out there who have experienced similar crimes, we are asking that they contact Inv. Steve Heine at 714-741-5422.”
