La Habra Police are looking for two men who stole prescription drugs from a grocery store pharmacy at the corner of Imperial Highway and Beach Boulevard on Tuesday evening.

14-3225 Vons Store Entrance

After the pair walked into the Vons at 2101 W. Imperial Highway, one man jumped over a counter and told the pharmacist “not to look at them, not to do anything and they would not get hurt.”

The man then placed multiple bottles of Codeine-type medicine in a bag as his accomplice stood by in the open waiting area of the pharmacy.

He then jumped back over the counter and the pair exited through emergency doors and got into a car in the store parking lot with another man driving. Witnesses reported the car, described as an older, white, four-door Mazda or Toyota, drove westbound on Imperial Highway.

He had dark brown, messy collar length hair and he was wearing a dark gray T-shirt and “baggy” blue jeans.

The driver, was possibly a male white or Hispanic, but there was no further description.
