Behind the Badge
A behind-the-scenes look into what the police department does and how it works is what drew hundreds to La Habra PD earlier this month for their annual Open House event.
Residents were invited on Oct. 17 to meet local officers and participate in demonstrations that showcased several of LHPD’s programs and services.
Motor officers displayed their skills while the K-9 team showcased how police dogs help find items and apprehend suspects.
Residents were also treated to tours of the station and an inside look at the North County SWAT truck, which some children turned into an impromptu jungle gym.
