Editor’s note: Every week, “Wanted Wednesday” spotlights a suspect wanted by the police. This week, we highlight a suspect sought in a 13-year-old Garden Grove narcotics case.

His name?

Hoang Khanh Cao, AKA Tony Khanh Cao, AKA Tony Hoang Cao

Description: Male, Vietnamese, 6 feet tall, 150 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, DOB 1/1/76

His alleged crime?

Cao was involved in a $58,000 narcotics sale in 2001 in Garden Grove. During the investigation, Cao led Garden Grove PD officers on a high-speed pursuit ending in L.A. County. Cao was armed with a handgun during the pursuit and should be considered armed and dangerous. Several other firearms and narcotics were found in Cao’s residence during a search warrant. He was booked into Orange County Jail and subsequently released after his case was transferred to Los Angeles County. Cao failed to show up to court and an arrest warrant was issued.

Other details: Cao’s last known address was in Monterey Park. He is considered armed and dangerous.
