La Habra police seized dozens of guns, thousands in cash and 40 pounds of marijuana after serving three search warrants as part of an ongoing narcotics cultivation investigation.
Police, with assistance from North County SWAT, at about 3 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, served warrants to residences in the 1400 block of W. Lambert Road, the 1200 block of N. Cypress Street and the 600 block of S. Palm, police said.
Members of the Placentia PD, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Homeland Security Investigations and Orange County Probation and Parole also aided in the searches.
Police confiscated 11 assault rifles, 25 handguns, 12 illegal 30-round assault rifle magazines and parts to build another dozen assault rifles from the three residences, police said.
Detectives also found about 40 pounds of marijuana and nearly $48,000 in cash.
Police arrested La Habra residents Adam Kinney, 28, Grant David Winn, 30, and Christina Thompson, 25, on suspicion of felony narcotics charges and misdemeanor child endangerment.
