In a recent two-day period, Fullerton police officers have taken a variety of dangerous weapons off the streets.
One suspect was arrested with an AR-15, bulletproof vest and ammunition.
A gang member was chased and then arrested with a loaded handgun.
Another suspect was taken into custody after threating to kill people. He had an AR-15, a handgun, ammunition and several homemade bombs.
Police Chief Dan Hughes posted photos of the seized weapons on his Facebook page as an indicator of the dangers officers face on a regular basis.
“I am so very proud of the men and women in our department and am humbled to be their chief,” Hughes wrote.
