Editor’s note: We recently published this video, along with a story, of Orange County singer/songwriter Holly Cahill performing a song she wrote in tribute to her father and law enforcement officers everywhere, “You Still Put the Uniform On” (click here to read). We felt it fitting to repost Holly’s song in the wake of the terrible tragedy in Palm Springs on Saturday as well as the murder of LASD Sgt. Steven Owen in Lancaster on Wednesday. When words fail, sometimes music says it best.
