A woman suspected of fatally shooting her husband early Thursday morning is in custody.
Tustin police at about 3:30 a.m. Oct. 27 received a call from a woman reporting her husband had been shot.
Officers responded to an apartment in the 14300 block of Browning Avenue and found a man who had been fatally shot in the head, police said.
Detectives interviewed the woman, who made incriminating statements alleging her involvement in the murder and subsequently was arrested.
Janell Diane Enos, 48, was booked Thursday into Orange County Jail on suspicion of homicide. Her husband was identified by police as Tommy Allen Enos, 46.
Police added the man and woman were the only ones living in the apartment.
