A motorcyclist was arrested by Huntington Beach police after driving recklessly and fighting with police officers, Huntington Beach police reported.
Downtown foot beat officers at about 7 p.m. on Sunday reported the driver riding erratically on Pacific Coast Highway.
The department’s helicopter, HB1, located the motorcyclist and alerted patrol officers to the rider’s location, police reported.
Officers caught up with the motorcyclist near Goldenwest Street and Slater Avenue.
After pulling him over, the motorcyclist became combative with the officers and fought them, police reported.
Officers arrested the rider under suspicion of reckless driving and battery on a police officer.
