The Fullerton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a homicide that occurred on May 28, 2016, at about 2 a.m. in the 1400 block of Manhattan Avenue.
Just prior to, and during, the altercation that lead up to the homicide, there was a large gathering of people in a parking lot where alcohol and illegal substances were being consumed by many in the crowd, the FPD said in a news release Monday, Feb. 13.
Several fights broke out during the gathering and a 19-year-old male was stabbed. He died as a result of his injuries.
Throughout the investigation, Fullerton PD detectives contacted and interviewed numerous people who were present at the gathering.
“That said, we believe there are other witnesses that have not yet come forward, and we are hopeful they can provide information and possibly identify who the suspect might be,” the FPD said in a news release.
The investigation is ongoing and the Fullerton Police Department is committed to bringing those responsible for this act of violence to justice, the news release said.
Anyone with information about this homicide is urged to contact Fullerton Police Sgt. M. Rowe at 714-738-6776 or Det. M. Magliano at 714-738-6753. Those wishing to provide information anonymously can call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1(855) TIP-OCCS or go to www.occrimestoppers.org.
