Join La Habra PD for coffee and a discussion about community partnerships

Do you or your neighbors have public safety issues that need to be addressed?

Do you have any general questions about how the La Habra Police Department does business?

Are you interested in a career in law enforcement?

If you answered yes to any of these questions – and even if you didn’t – Police Chief Jerry Price wants to invite you to join him and some of his officers for a cup of coffee at 8 a.m. on Dec. 13 at Casa Adelita, 340 E. La Habra Blvd.

“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns or simply get to know our officers,” he said. “These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.”

Too often, police officials say, residents only interact with officers during emergencies, traffic stops or other tense situations.

Price wants residents to know that he and his officers are approachable. This is LHPD’s first “Coffee with a Cop.” Coffee will be hosted by the restaurant.

“Crime in La Habra remains at historic lows,” Price said. “We want and need the community’s continued help and support to keep it that way.”
