Garden Grove police officers responded to a report of shots fired at about 7:20 p.m. March 1, and found a man who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
The Garden Grove Police Department is seeking information pertaining to the shooting.
Officers on the scene discovered a vehicle that had crashed into the back of another vehicle inside a carport in the 1400 block of Buena Street.
The driver of the vehicle appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was unresponsive.
Garden Grove paramedics responded and provided treatment before the victim was transported to the hospital. He was listed in critical condition as of 11:30 p.m.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
