A 22-year-old man died after being shot while partying in a commercial area of Anaheim early Sunday morning, and police are asking the public’s help in finding the suspect or suspects.
The victim, who was not identified by police, was shot in the 1500 block of W. Embassy Street and was transported by friends to Anaheim Global Medical Center just before 3 a.m. Sept. 20, the APD said in a news release.
The victim then was transported to UCI Medical Center where he died, police said.
Several people were partying in the commercial area when the shooting occurred, police said. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 855-TIP-OCCS or by email at www.occrimestoppers.org.
