On Wednesday, Nov. 27, the Tustin PD handed out Thanksgiving meals to 125 needy families.
A couple of hours later, two teams from the TPD battled under rainy skies in the agency’s annual “Turkey Bowl” flag-football match.
Behind the Badge photographer Steven George was there to catch the action.
The Turkey Bowl began 10 years ago to raise money for Tustin area families around Thanksgiving. It started as a competition between several O.C. law enforcement agencies, but now it’s a match between two teams from the TPD.
