Behind the Badge
The Tustin PD held its seventh-annual Turkey Bowl flag football game Saturday to raise money for the purchase of about 125 Thanksgiving dinners for needy Tustin families of four this holiday season.
Agencies that participated in the Nov. 15 Turkey Bowl in Santa Ana also included the Santa Ana PD, Westminster PD and Fullerton PD.
“We tend to lose track of what the holiday season is all about,” said Tustin PD Sgt. Jeff Taylor, who organized the event. “It’s not so much about ourselves but those we can help.”
For the second consecutive year, the Westminster PD won the Turkey Bowl. Behind the Badge OC was at the 2014 Turkey Bowl to capture some images.
