Turn in your gun and get $100 — no questions asked, and no ID required.
That’s the deal being offered by the Anaheim PD, which is holding its annual “Gun Buy Back” on Saturday.
Handguns, rifles and shotguns can be turned in from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 on the north side of La Palma Park, off La Palma Park Way, from North Anaheim Boulevard.
Officers will be present to direct participants.
The Anaheim PD is offering a $100 gift card, per firearm, with no questions asked to Target, Kohl’s, or Fry’s Electronics.
“It’s important guns are legally and safely transported,” the Anaheim PD said in a news release. “Securing guns, unloaded, in the trunk can be an ideal way to transport them.”
