The Garden Grove PD is urging anyone with information about a suspicious fire that damaged several classrooms at Bolsa Grande High School to contact them, anonymously if preferred.
The blaze that erupted at 1:16 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 caused significant damage to two classrooms on the south end of the school, located at 9401 Westminster Ave.
Six other classrooms suffered water and smoke damage.
In a news release Wednesday, the Garden Grove PD said its investigators are working with Garden Grove Fire Department arson investigators to determine if a crime was committed.
“There were numerous people on campus and in the area at the time this fire started,” the news release said.
“Any persons who have not already spoken to the police who have information regarding this fire being intentionally set, by whom or suspicious subjects seen in the area at the time it started are asked to call the Garden Grove Police Department at 714-741-5704.
“Operators are available to take your information and can do so anonymously if you prefer.”
