Body of a young woman found at Westminster hotel, ruled a homicide

Westminster Police detectives are looking for information in connection with a homicide that was discovered Monday night.

Officers responded at about 11 p.m.Feb. 5 to a call of suspicious circumstances at the Westminster Quality Inn & Suites. Officers found the body of a woman in one of the rooms. According to the Westminster Police Department, evidence at the scene suggests the woman was the victim of homicide.

Commander Cameron Knauerhaze said the woman was in her 20s. Police are withholding the woman’s name until her next of kin are notified.

There are currently no known suspects, according to the Westminster Police Department.
