A man was assaulted by three suspects Thursday night after he confronted them as they were possibly tampering with his car. The assault occurred around 10:50 p.m. April 5 in the area of Brookhurst Street and Central Avenue. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects, who are at large, are described as three males, possibly Hispanic, 18-25 years old, all wearing plaid jackets with hoods.
