Tustin Police are requesting help from anyone who witnessed a car hitting two pedestrians Tuesday morning at the corner of Newport Avenue and Bryan Avenue in Tustin.
One pedestrian was killed and another severely injured when they were struck by the car, according to Tustin Police.
The names of the pedestrians have not yet been released. Both pedestrians were rushed to the hospital just after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, and one died Wednesday.
The driver of the car was not injured. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigating officers. At this time, the driver is not suspected to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
