A driver being chased by Anahiem police crashed into a furniture store at the northwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and Valencia Avenue just south of Downtown Fullerton, police said.
The chase began at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Romneya Street when the driver of a Cadillac Escalade refused to pull over for officers.
Fullerton police were contacted to assist after the pursuit, which ended with the driver speeding up Harbor Boulevard, attempting to turn westbound on Valencia and crashing into the side window of the store.

The driver attempted to get away and ran into a nearby home in the 500 block of Harbor Boulevard. A resident of the home was able to get outside and flag down officers. Both the driver and a female passenger were arrested at the scene.
Fullerton police took reports of the damage from the accident, which also included a light post on the corner.
