Fullerton police arrested a man they suspect to be the driver of a white Ford Explorer that struck and killed a Buena Park man in his wheelchair in the 2600 block of Orangethorpe Avenue on Aug. 18, officials said Monday.
Brandon Joel Busse, 28, of Fullerton was taken into custody Saturday night at a Tustin motel room. The white Ford Explorer was found in the motel parking lot.
Busse faces charges of felony hit and run and is being held on $50,000 bail. He is expected to be arraigned Tuesday morning at the Santa Ana Superior Court.
Marc Borgfield, 49, of Buena Park was in his wheelchair in traffic when he was struck and killed.
