The Garden Grove PD is reaching out to the public for information about a suspect involved in a string of recent armed robberies at several fast-food restaurants and a mobile phone repair business.
In the spree of crimes from July 7 to July 22, a male suspect entered the business and handed an employee a note demanding money and then showed the employee a handgun in his waistband. He then fled the business with no vehicle seen.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic between 25 and 30 years old, with a medium build, short black hair and facial hair. He usually wears sunglasses.

July 11, 2017 at 12:02 p.m. — CN Wireless, 10181 Westminster Ave.
July 13, 2017 at 2:09 p.m. — Wendy’s, 10040 Chapman Ave.
July 14, 2017 at 10:33 p.m. — Pizza Hut, 10092 Westminster Ave.
July 15, 2017 at 9:54 p.m. — McDonald’s, 9852 Westminster Ave.
July 20, 2017 at 10:06 p.m. — Subway, 13961 Harbor Blvd.
July 22, 2017 at 2:53 p.m. — Taco Bell, 8511 Westminster Ave.
July 22, 2017 at 8:42 p.m. — Pizza Hut, 10072 Chapman Ave.
The Garden Grove Police Department is coordinating with other agencies that have been experiencing similar robberies, and is asking for the public’s help in attempting to identify the suspect. Please contact Det. Casaccia at 714-741-5840.
