The Garden Grove PD is looking for two suspects who broke into a hair salon on March 29 and then gained access to a neighboring smoke-shop business, making off with cash and several cartons of cigarettes.
In a news release Tuesday, April 5, the GGPD described one suspect as a male Asian in his 20s, medium build and wearing prescription glasses.
The second suspect is described as a male Asian or Hispanic, heavy set and in his 20s.
The commercial burglary happened at 6:20 a.m. March 29 at Natural Hair Salon, 12841 Harbor Blvd., Garden Grove.
The suspects used an unknown tool to pry open a door of the hair salon and then cut a 3-foot-by-3-foot hole into a wall shared by a neighboring business, Smoke City.
While inside Smoke City, the suspects smashed two cash registers onto the ground, which was captured on video.
The business also was ransacked.
The suspects were seen fleeing in a dark-colored, possible gray small BMW four-door.
The GGPD and owners of both businesses are asking the public for help with identifying the suspects. Callers can refer all information to GGPD Det. Wardle at 714-741-5837. Callers may remain anonymous. Callers also can contact OC Crimestoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS or via occrimestoppers.org
