The second-annual Guns ‘N Hoses, held Saturday at the Downtown Anaheim Center Street Promenade in Anaheim, attracted 120 CrossFit athletes from police and fire agencies and the military, as well as civilians, in a competition that raised money for the Anaheim Police Survivors’ and Scholarship Fund.
The fund assists immediate families of officers injured or killed in the line of duty, offers scholarships to high school seniors entering college and memorializes Anaheim officers killed in the line of duty.
Two-person, same-gender teams representing 26 different public service agencies participated in the April 2 event, competing in three WODs (Workout of the Day).
