La Habra police are appealing to the public to help them find a 23-year-old woman who was reported missing Tuesday morning.

Ashley Josette Sheehan, who her family said has diminished mental capacity, was last seen at her home in the 600 block of N. Walnut Street at about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Sheehan is described as caucasian, 5’5” and about 130 pounds. She has black hair, which she often wears in a pony tail, and hazel eyes.

Family members told police Sheehan was last seen wearing a lavender tank top, black running shorts and pink and black athletic shoes.

Sheehan does not have a cell phone and her family said they don’t believe she had any money with her.

La Habra PD has canvassed the neighborhood along with local schools, parks and businesses. Mass transit authorities have been alerted and bulletins have been put out on social media, but police said there are still no leads.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen this woman or has any information about her possible whereabouts to call La Habra PD at 562-383-4300.
