As a show of gratitude to police and fire departments, Knott’s Berry Farm is once again offering free park admission to both local and non-local active law enforcement and fire personnel.

“The fire and law promotion has been proudly offered at Knott’s Berry Farm for over 17 years,” said Lupita Suda, manager of Advertising and Promotions. “It’s our small way to give thanks to the fire officials and law enforcement officers who dedicate their lives to ensure our communities are safe. We truly appreciate the heroic work that they do.”

Fire and Law Tribute Days offers free Knott’s admission for fire and law personnel plus one guest from now through Dec. 16 and Jan. 9 through Jan. 31, 2017.

Now through Dec. 16, up to six more tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate of $32 each. From Jan. 9 through Jan. 31, up to six more tickets can be purchased for $27 each. Fire or law enforcement identification is required.

Guests who visit the theme park now also will be treated to Knott’s Merry Farm, full of holiday-themed shows, entertainment, crafts and food. Knott’s Merry Farm is running through Jan. 8.

“I’ve gone almost every year,” said Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Daron Wyatt. “It is nice to know that a large corporation such as Knott’s recognizes the stresses and challenges shift work places on public safety families and gives us a chance to go unwind at a place that is enjoyable. They do it over an extended period that accommodates those who work virtually every schedule.”
