An Orange County Sheriff Special Officer helped reunite a beloved lost teddy with a 7-year-old girl.
Abby left Teddy at John Wayne Airport over Labor Day weekend where it was picked up by fellow traveler, Anne Marie Kernick.
Kernick snapped a picture of the well-loved stuffed animal and posted it on Facebook.
The post was shared more than 28,000 times.
After trying several times, Abby’s father, Eddie McCoy called one last time to to ask if Teddy had been recovered.
OCSD Special Officer Miguel Rodriguez overheard the phone conversation and helped connect McCoy with Kernick.
