The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information to help identify a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank.
The robbery took place around 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24 inside the Stater Bros. market at 22351 El Toro Rd., Lake Forest.
The suspect is a white male around 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds, the OCSD said in a news release. He has brown hair and wore a disguise that consisted of a hat, gloves, and sunglasses.
The suspect also walked with a cane and had a sling on his left arm.
When the robber entered the Wells Fargo branch, he demanded money after threatening the tellers, according to the news release.
Before deputies arrived, he fled the scene with the money inside a cardboard box.
The robbery is being investigated by the FBI’s Bank Robber Apprehension Team in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies.
