The Orange County Sheriff’s Department delighted followers of its San Clemente Police Services Facebook page Thursday with a humorous invitation to those with arrest warrants who play Pokemon Go.
The post included a purple Pokemon figure inside the booking area of its San Clemente substation with a special message: “We’ve got a great new Pokestop for you… Inside you’ll find a rare Pokemon called the Arrestchu. Keep in mind it can only be caught by people with warrants. Come on down to the Substation. It also has a bonus of two silver poke bracelets.”
So far, officials say, nobody has shown up to catch the new Pokemon.
