A second male teenage passenger died Sunday from a crash Friday that killed a fellow 17-year-old male when an Infinity M37 packed with seven people veered off the road, collided with a cement post and then slammed into a parked moving van and rolled over.

The traffic collision happened at around 2:40 p.m. March 23 in the 16000 block of Legacy Road, between Tustin Ranch Road and Warner Avenue and across from the Amalfi Apartment complex.

Pedro Fuentes, 17, of Santa Ana was the passenger in the crashed car who was pronounced dead at the scene Friday.

Jason Anguiano, 17, was the passenger who died Sunday, according to the Orange County Coroner.

A female, 19, was driving the Infiniti.

She and four other passengers — two 17-year-old females and two 17-year-old males — were injured and taken to a hospital Friday with various degrees of non-life-threatening injuries.

It does not appear drugs or alcohol were involved, the Tustin PD said in a news release Monday, March 26.

It is suspected that speed was a contributing factor in the collision but the exact cause is still under investigation, the news release said.

The Tustin Police Department is requesting anyone who may have information regarding this investigation to contact the Traffic Unit at 714-573-3218.
