Behind the Badge
A sweet photo of a sheriff’s deputy out of Florida sharing in a tea party with his young daughter is making the rounds on social media to remind the community that cops are human, too.
The photo of Collier County Deputy Adam Dillman and his daughter, who is wearing a tiara and a party dress, has been shared on Facebook more than 1,200 times.
Dillman was on his way to work when he stopped to spend a few minutes with his daughter, according to the CCSO.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office writes: “This photo is a great reminder that deputies are human beings. They are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters….they have families at home that are praying for their safety every day.”
A great message that resonates for every agency, in every county.
