Pasadena’s Urth Caffé is often crowded with locals who snag a bistro table outside and enjoy the California sunshine and avocado toast. On Thursday November 7th, Pasadena Police Department took over the duties for the serving staff for a special Tip-A-Cop fundraiser where volunteers raised money for the Special Olympics Pasadena. Dozens of police officers, detectives, lieutenants, dispatch operators and community specialist spent the hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. bussing tables, serving food and assisting diners at this neighborhood favorite.
