Tustin police are looking for a man they say attempted to sexually assault a woman on Wednesday, Feb. 24, after she left a local grocery store.
The woman went shopping at Ralph’s in the 13000 block of Jamboree Road where police said surveillance video shows the suspect stalking her in the store, then following her in the parking lot.
Police said the man then followed the woman to her residence, grabbed her from behind at the waist and tried to sexually assault her.
The woman resisted and struggled with the suspect, and the man eventually ran to his vehicle and drove away.
Police describe the suspect as a 5-foot-8 white man in his 20s or 30s, with a thin build and brown hair. He was driving a silver two-door Scion coupe.
