The Tustin PD is looking for a female suspect who was dropped off in a neighborhood and rummaged through a resident’s mailbox, getting away with some important documents.
“Mail theft is an ongoing issue for many cities in Orange County,” the Tustin PD said in a Facebook post. “On the surface, mail theft may not appear to be a serious crime, but it can have severe consequences for the victims.”
The crime happened in July in the residential area of Browning Avenue and San Juan Street.
The woman, who is pregnant, was dropped off by what appears to be a dark-blue Honda Fit.
Tustin PD officers were unable to get a license plate on the vehicle, but did obtain some photographs of the vehicle as well as picture of the pregnant female suspect.
