The Tustin Police Department is searching for information regarding a recent stabbing.
Tustin police officers responded to a call at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday, July 18 involving an altercation between several subjects at 17000 Whitby Circle.
Prior to the officers’ arrival, the suspects fled the scene and the victim was transported to a local hospital by a family member where police were able to locate him.
Hospital personnel determined that during the altercation, the victim obtained a non-life threating cut in his abdomen and was also struck by a solid object.
Police believe that the incident could be gang related and that the victim was specifically targeted by the suspects.
