Garden Grove TV3 produced a video (to view, click above) about the Garden Grove Police Department’s Explorer Post 1020 — a video shown to attendees of the annual explorers awards banquet May 6 (click here to read that story).
In the video, several GGPD explorers talk about the valuable training they receive in police work by helping out at DUI checkpoints and community events, and about the value of teamwork.
“They’re here just like me,” Explorer Post 1020 Cpl. Daniel Alvarez said. “They’re here to learn.”
