A 25-year-old Huntington Beach man was arrested on suspicion of defrauding his grandparents of more than $30,000.

Police at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday responded to Citibank concerning reports a man may have been illegally using his grandparents’ ATM card to withdraw money.

Police said the elderly man and woman suffer from early-onset dementia and they believe the grandson was exploiting their condition and could be responsible for the missing $30,000.
