A woman who drove off the side of the road and crashed in the wetlands Tuesday morning was airlifted to the hospital but appears to have avoided serious injury, police said.
The crash, at about 12:10 a.m. near Springdale and Talbert avenues, left the woman unconscious.
Police officials say they suspect alcohol was “a factor” in the crash.
