Arias is a suspect in the death of 27-year-old Rafael Luna, who was found injured with a gunshot wound in the 2500 block of East Terrace Street on November 24, 2017.  Luna was taken to a local hospital, where he died later that night.

Over the last two years, Anaheim Police Department Homicide Detectives have remained committed to the case and diligent in their investigation. Conducting interviews with witnesses, consulting surveillance footage and utilizing DNA technology, the department was able to link Arias to the scene and identify him as the primary suspect.
