The Anaheim PD on Friday released surveillance video that shows the moment a car involved in a street-racing crash Saturday, Dec. 10 slammed into an apartment at Ball Road and Euclid Street, killing two and seriously injuring a third person.

The APD on Dec. 23 also released photographs of the second car involved in the crash that occurred in the 1700 block of Ball Road.

The wanted vehicle is a black Ford Mustang, not red as originally reported.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident, but returned a minute later. However, after seeing the aftermath the vehicle fled again.

The APD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and its occupant(s). Some of the photographs also show a tow truck. The APD needs to speak with the driver as a witness only and is trying to track the driver down. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers or Inv. Rick Alexander at 714-765-1861.
