Behind the Badge OC is introducing a new video feature, “Close Calls,” in which members of the law enforcement community describe brushes with tragedy.
Kicking off this series is Lt. Carl Whitney of the Garden Grove PD, who early in his career experienced a very scary moment when he was least expecting it.
