Behind the Badge
Young patients watched with big smiles as superheroes Batman, Batgirl, Robin, Captain America, Flash, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Spiderman, Superman, Wolverine, and Wonder Woman rappelled down the walls at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas.
According to patch.com, the goal of the event was to provide a fun-filled day for hospital patients by giving them the opportunity to interact with police officers.
Some of the officers were dressed in typical police uniforms while others wore superhero outfits. Both came together to stop villains like The Riddler and Catwoman in a staged battle.
After the heroes won the battle, they went to the auditorium, where they interacted with children, taking photos and signing autographs.
