BTBuzz: New Jersey police rescue stranded bride from flooded area

Weddings don’t always go as planned — a New Jersey bride knows this fact all too well.

When storms spread across northern New Jersey, a bride and her wedding party found themselves stranded on the roof of a car that was up to its grill in water.

Luckily, the Bogota Police Department spotted them and used a Humvee to successfully rescue the group.

The department posted the rescue video on its Facebook page and wished the couple “a lifetime of love and adventure.”
