Behind the Badge
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department Harbor Patrol was on the water Tuesday afternoon in Dana Point Harbor when it became necessary to advise paddle boarders and kayakers over the PA that anyone under the age of 12 was required to have a life jacket on. Apparently seeing the glum faces on some of the beachgoers the deputies decided to turn the frowns into smiles. A quick spray from the firefighting pump turned the frowns upside down and it definitely made the day for a lot children and their families.
