Full-time Upon satisfactory graduation from a Bakersfield Police Department P.O.S.T. Basic Course Police Academy, applicants will be appointed to a Police Officer.
Full-time Under general supervision, performs professional duties in a sworn capacity pursuant to California Penal Code 830.1 and is responsible for protecting persons and property; enforcing state and local laws and ordinances; identifies, deters and investigates crime; contributes to the positive welfare of the community; and performs related work as required.
Full-time Under general supervision performs skilled work in receiving calls at the Communications Center, including requests for police, fire and medical aid services or to provide information.
