Fullerton Police seek public’s help in finding hit-and-run suspect who critically hurt woman

Fullerton Police are asking for assistance in locating a motorist who struck a woman March 27, critically injuring her.

Police found the 36-year-old woman around 9:45 p.m. Friday in the northbound lanes of the 1200 block of South Highland Avenue suffering from “injuries consistent with a collision,” the Fullerton Police Department said in a news release Monday.

The victim, a resident of Fullerton, remains in critical condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange.

A witness to the collision reported seeing a dark-colored sedan leaving the area; it is not known if the sedan was involved in the collision, the news release said.
