Garden Grove PD asks for public’s help in locating two suspects in armed robbery

Two men who robbed a Shell gas station at gunpoint Monday evening are at large, and the Garden Grove PD is asking the public for help in finding them.

The heist occurred at 7:58 p.m. June 29 at the Shell station at 12571 Valley View St., Garden Grove.

Images of the suspected felons were caught on video surveillance cameras.

One suspect is described as a male Hispanic in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with short black hair and brown eyes and a moustache. He has a thin build. He was wearing a black T-shirt and a black baseball cap with the letter “B” on it, and gray pants.

The second suspect is described as a male black in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hoody with the letters “TDE” and black pants.

According to police, the two men entered the business and the black suspect placed a soda on the counter in front of the cashier.

The Hispanic suspect then displayed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the register.

The suspects took $500 in cash and fled on foot southbound on Valley View.

No suspect vehicle was seen. The clerk was not injured. Physical evidence was collected and will be examined.
