Two men were shot in Garden Grove on Tuesday night, May 22, and the Garden Grove Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen the suspects or suspects and a car they possibly were driving.

The first victim was found in a parking lot at 10161 Westminster Ave. at 10:52 p.m. He had been shot in the arm and leg and was transferred to UCI Medical Center in Orange.

Shell casings were found at the scene in front of the Sky Restaurant, a Vietnamese eatery, GGPD Lt. Carl Whitney said.

The GGPD soon learned that a second man had been dropped off at a local hospital. He had been shot in the chest and was transferred to UCIMC’s trauma unit.

The GGPD described both victims’ injuries as life-threatening.

Police say the suspect or suspects left the scene, possibly in a car, but at this point they have no further vehicle description. They described one suspect as male, possibly Vietnamese, around 30 to 35 years old.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the suspect or suspects are urged to contact the Garden Grove Police Department. GGPD detectives can be reached at 714-741-5800.
